50 Cent has just put his money where his mouth is! The outspoken rapper, actor, and producer has just written a huge check for charity, $3 million, to be exact. He plans on distributing the cash to deserving nonprofits in the community through his G-Unity Foundation.
The Blast has reported that 50 wants the money to be “used towards school programs and also the construction of new parks and open space areas for underprivileged kids”.
Having a reputation for starting beefs and fueling online fights and negativity, maybe 50 Cent will use this charitable gift as a springboard to a new and positive direction. He has, what is reported to be, an awesome $150 million deal with cable tv network Starz, enjoying wonderful success in Hollywood – so let’s just keep it going, 50.
