Joann Lee Kelly, who now goes by the name Buku Abi, is R. Kelly’s 19 year old daughter, and she’s calling out her father for his infamous misdeeds in a lengthy Instagram post. Among other things, she calls her dad a “monster”. She says, “The same monster you all confronting me about is my father”. She adds, “I grew up in that house”. She also expressed a lot of sympathy for the victims, and strongly implied that she and her entire family have suffered from R. Kelly’s alleged abuses. Her mother is Drea Kelly, R. Kelly’s second wife and major contributor to Lifetime’s explosive docuseries, “Surviving R. Kelly”.
Until now this young lady has chosen to be quiet about the happenings in “that house”, as she puts it. It appears that is all changing and maybe there will be more to come from Buku Abi.
