Youngboy NBA just dropped a single for the new year called “Kick Yo Door”. You may say, well didn’t he just release an album in December? Yes, except it was a mixtape called, “Realer”. Less than a month later, Youngboy NBA continues to smash the gas.
“Kick Yo Door” is very gritty stuff, rocked-up. It definitely brings to mind that Master P., UGK, gangster sound from back in the day, with a Youngboy flow. He also released a video for the track, showing lots of hardware in the streets, to match the hardcore feel of the song.
I give “Kick Yo Door” 3 out of 5 Daggers. This jam is gangsta hot, but may take too many spins to motivate the listener, and it does not Draw Blood.
