Super producer Kevin “Khao” Cates is landing on a helipad somewhere in Atlanta with a briefcase full of hot sh**. He just dropped a monster of a jam called “Done With Her”, and I hope that means there is an album to follow.
Though you may not know who he is, Kevin “Khao” Cates has sold over 35 million records in his accomplished career – producing for artists from T.I. and Jeezy to Snoop Dogg. So when it came to rounding up Gucci Mane, Lil Baby, YBN Nahmir and Tabius Tate, it was nothing new to this experienced hit-maker, and we’re glad he brought his “particular set of skills” back again.
“Done With Her” is smokin’ hot. The energy is on smash as Khao gives you an intro full of hot classic horns that gets your attention, a sound similar to old Jamrock live shows with Bob Marley & The Wailers. Then the beat drops with Gucci Mane pushing that d-boy flow, and you know it’s a banger. “Done With Her” is exciting, and it’s a track that will get you off your feet. I give “Done With Her” 4 out of 5 Daggers Drippin’. The track work is impressive, rhymes are on point, and it does Draw Blood.
