Tomorrow, Billboard Magazine will post Future Hndrxx Presents: The Wizrd as the #1 album in the nation. With 126,000 equivalent album units sold, this will give Future his sixth album to debut at number one in just over 3 years.
An astonishing accomplishment for any artist, this milestone has not been reached in over 40 years. Only the great Elton John can tought such success. He did it 2 months quicker way back in the early seventies – which is insane considering analog music recordings would not fade for nearly 20 years.
Future’s hits include; Dirty Sprite 2, What a Time to be Alive, Evol, Future, Hndrxx, and now The Wizrd. That’s an enormous amount of music out there streaming, filling-up the airways, and influencing the music industry. With only minimal promotions leading up to release, The Wizrd may very well have a good long stay at the top as well.
