BSmyth is back working on his solo material with the single “Too Many Reasons.” While this R&B marvel has been in the game for years, you may not know who he is, as he’s still waiting to drop his first solo album. In 2018 you may have noticed his vocal stylings on LightSkinKeisha’s “Ride Good” because he really made that jam hot.
Now he’s looking for 2019 to be his year, as the culmination of hard work is about to pay off. “Too Many Reasons” is a relationship drama about the tales of two different perspectives. It has interesting writing, and features awesome falsettos from BSmyth that make this track very entertaining. The beat is simple, but the song overall is produced very well, and leaves the focus on the voice of BSmyth.
I give “Too Many Reasons” 3 out of 5 Daggers. It’s smooth and the vocals from BSmyth win you over by the end, but it does not Draw Blood.
