As if last night was forever ago, today Cardi B is standing in her kitchen, bare-faced, and going off on Instagram. Gone are the highs of celebration over her historic Rap Album of the Year Grammy Award; she now seems to be vexed at her haters, and she wants them to know it.
She doesn’t name names, but hear her fury…
Some have speculated this could be about Nicki Minaj today refusing to perform for BET anymore. Nicki’s upset over a meme BET put out that dissed her, using Cardi B’s Grammy win as a backdrop.
Cardi B did say in the clip that she noticed things today and last night. Nicki Minaj’s hashtag has been rattling off her accomplishments ever since Cardi B won, it’s true – maybe Cardi feels disrespected.
Whatever the reason, it’s clear that Cardi B does not yet feel like she can relax and enjoy the fruits of her labor. We’ll be watching to see if she tells all or not, and we’ll bring it to you when it happens.
