G-Eazy is checking in with a new single and collaboration with the super hot new rapper Blueface. Gearing up for his new album and a pioneering Las Vegas residency with Cardi B, G-Eazy truly has millions on his schedule – all he has to do is deliver.
“West Coast” with Blueface is a logical hook-up and they tell us the video will drop any minute. However, after dropping a couple of really hot tracks before this one, the bar has been set, and the single “West Coast” featuring Blueface doesn’t seem to measure up.
The track is ok, but it features a million times rehashed old school sample. While G-Eazy is snappin’ hot, the youngster Blueface is slippin’ – these are just facts, no cap.
I give the single “West Coast” by G-Eazy & Blueface 2 out of 5 Daggers. G-Eazy is hot, the track is lukewarm, and Blueface is cold – it does not Draw Blood.
