After the States Attorney already charged Jussie Smollett with two felony counts of disorderly conduct, today a Cook County grand jury handed down a 16-count felony indictment for filing a false police report. The heat just got a lot hotter for the Empire actor with a creative imagination.
TMZ is reporting the charges stem from his initial filing of a police report and a second meeting he had with police – all lies. Given the egregious nature of Jussie’s alleged crimes and his lack of credible denials, the actor is looking at a serious stint behind bars.
