When Love & Hip Hop star Tommie Lee showed up to her child abuse court hearing flat-out drunk last month, it was clear she had some major issues going on.
Last year, she marched into her daughter’s middle school and allegedly assaulted her. Witnesses say Tommie Lee hit her daughter in the face, and jacked the child up on the lockers, all in full view of staff and students.
Now it seems she’s willing to get treatment for not just her alcohol abuse, but her obvious mental health issues as well. TMZ reports that her lawyers filed a petition asking the court to recognize her problems as a part of her child abuse case and allow her to get help.
A few years ago Tommie Lee publicly admitted she might have a problem with bipolar disorder. Perhaps now she can get the help she needs. We’ll be following the developments in her case for sure.
