Rapper Mystikal made a surprise appearance at Funk Fest Orlando, a major Hip Hop and R&B concert series showcasing urban artists. This was his first major performance since spending 18 months in jail on a rape allegation made back in 2016.

Mystikal still has an upcoming trial date on August 5th, and it remains to be seen if the “Danger” rapper will keep his freedom. Whether public reaction to the artist remains positive remains to be seen as well. After all this is Mystikal’s second round of serious rape charges, as he’s already spent years in state penitentiary over the issue.
