Usher’s been working on his next studio album at a feverish pace with legendary producer Jermaine Dupri. JD is posting lots of pictures and videos of the two men in the studio, smashing out new work.
Now that it looks like the horrible herpes drama and cloud hovering over the “My Way” singer’s life has been lifted, the Confessions 2 album can now move forward. TMZ reports Laura Helm, a one time fling Usher was involved with, has now dismissed her lawsuit against him for a second time. This time we’re told there was a settlement. Don’t know the amount, but she was originally looking for $20 million.
This episode has seen the demise of Usher’s second marriage to Grace Miguel, a slump in his career, and a huge hit to the singer’s reputation. With the words, “dismissed with prejudice,” his record label and other financial backers can breathe a sy of relief because now the only thing left to watch is the R&B legend’s rise again.
Until the next time it drips…
