After alleged rape victim Kathryn Mayorga withdrew her civil suit against the most popular person in the world, soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, his legions of fans around the globe and his many business partners thought the nasty chapter of rape allegations against the superstar was all over with. Not only are the rape allegations not over with, all indications from her lawyers are that they’re just getting started.
Larissa Drohobyczer told TMZ they’re just in the middle of moving the case from state court to federal court, which will make it much easier to put hooks in a big fish like Ronaldo. After they confirm Italian authorities have served him with papers, Kathryn Mayorga and her legal team will be moving full steam ahead.
Ronaldo already paid a measly $375,000 to Mayorga over the 2009 incident in a Las Vegas hotel, but she now realizes how much of a legend Ronaldo really is, and his true wealth can hardly be counted. He recently spent nearly three times that much on just one of his many sports cars, after he won another championship in Italy.
What she really wants… criminal charges. To that end, Las Vegas police confirmed they are definitely having another look at the case with more serious intent, as the original investigation was carried out prior to the Me Too movement – every victim should be believed, and every victim deserves a full and fair investigation.
We’re watching to see how Kathryn Mayorga is treated, and we’ll bring you the news when we get it. Until the next time it drips….
