POLICE SAY LIL DURK JACKED VICTIM FOR $30K

Lil Durk got bad news in court earlier today. A judge found there is probable cause for all five felony charges he’s facing out of Atlanta Georgia, in connection with a February 5th shooting. Prosecutors laid out a lot of damning evidence that not only put the gun used in the crime in Lil Durk’s hand, but also implicated the rapper in a conspiracy to rob the victim and steal from him.

The victim’s name is Alexander Weatherspoon, and police say Lil Durk shot him on camera, outside of the famous Varsity fast food restaurant near Georgia Tech in downtown Atlanta. They also say Lil Durk not only shot 23 year old Weatherspoon, he also robbed him of $30,000, took his jewelry, and jacked his car. If reports are correct, the robbery actually took place before Lil Durk allegedly shot the guy. As you know, Weatherspoon survived the attack and is helping police with the case.

Prosecutors went on to accuse the rapper of being a member of a street gang based out of Chicago, where Lil Durk is originally from. Along with attempted murder, he’s also been charged with being employed by and associating with a street gang. They even brought in a detective from Chicago to help establish the link between the rapper and the street gang.

Lil Durk is in serious trouble right now, and he probably won’t be getting out of jail anytime soon. He has a young son and a fiance that he likes to share posts about online. The rapper turned himself in to Atlanta police on March 30th, with the expressed intention of showing good faith, so that he might be given a bond. That doesn’t seem to have worked out.

For his part, Lil Durk says… “I have nothing to hide. I have nothing to run from.” No date yet on his next court hearing, but as soon as we get more about the case, we’ll let you know.

Until the next time it drips…
