Rapper YG has some trouble brewing with the LA County Sheriff’s Department – they raided his house earlier. TMZ reports they’re looking for evidence in a wild shooting early this month that, apparently, involved the “Go Loco” rapper’s SUV. A Sheriff’s deputy was shot, and an innocent bystander was killed after someone opened fire from the vehicle and led police on a high speed chase.
Four people were seen being handcuffed during the raid, and we’re getting reports one person was arrested on firearms violations. However, YG was not home when police came rushing in. When news of the shooting first broke a couple weeks ago, YG told reporters…
“I was nowhere near the scene of this incident and had been in a recording studio all day in Hollywood. I was there until after midnight on the 4th of July and didn’t learn of these events until after they happened.”
Since the only victims weren’t even involved in the crime, police want to know who the actual target was to begin with, and it looks like they mean business. No word yet on whether YG has been questioned by the cops, but there are more details to come. We’ll keep you plugged in – until the next time it drips…
