The reigning women’s gymnastics world champion, Simone Biles, has finally offered words concerning the tragic circumstance of her brother’s triple murder indictment. After his arrest on Thurday, Simone spoke out Monday night, saying… “My heart aches for everyone involved, especially for the victims and their families.” No doubt, this unfortunate happening has taken its toll on the sports icon. Simone’s brother is named Tevin Biles-Thomas, and he’s twenty-four years old. He’s also an active duty member of the United States Army, stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia. Back on December 31st, New Years Eve, he was involved in a triple shooting that left three people dead in Cleveland. Apparently, he was at a house party at what TMZ calls an Airbnb rental at the time when fighting broke out. An uninvited group of party crashers came through just before midnight and the deadly beef began.
Three young men were gunned down between the ages of nineteen and twenty-three, and two others were injured.
After months of investigating, Cleveland police decided last Thursday that Tevin Biles-Thomas was their man, so they decided to pick him up.He’s been charged with three murders, voluntary manslaughter, felony assault, and perjury. Though they weren’t raised together, Tevin is Simone’s biological brother and by the pictures on her Instagram account, it’s clear she cares for him. Monday Simone went in to say this to the victims involved, “There is nothing that I can say that will heal anyone’s pain, but I do want to express my sincere condolences to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy.”We’ll keep you plugged in to this story for sure – until the next time it drips…
