Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore just wrapped an interview with People where she made some interesting reveals about her marriage on life support, and she even defended her estranged husband, Marc Daly. Kenya told the magazine that she has yet to actually file for divorce from Marc and he hasn’t filed either. To the notion that Marc had been cheating on her during their marriage and had a whole family in New York City, the RHOA diva answered…
“I can tell you I’ve heard a lot of rumors about secret families. I can tell you that’s completely made up; there’s zero truth to that,” she says. “In terms of infidelity, I’ve had no proof of that. That’s not our issue.”
Kenya insisted the couple’s real problem was the fact that they were so far apart. She said, “the distance had really been taking a toll on us.” The star continued… “Marc opened up two new businesses and is opening up another. It was frustrating for me that he kept opening businesses in New York.” Kenya explained how helpless she would feel when they were actually in the same city, but still not spending any time with one another.
However, Kenya conceded the fact that she and Marc both embraced a life of living separately… her in Atlanta and he in NYC. It seems she still thinks that idea to be fine, even with their marriage crumbling through her fingertips. On the other hand, she now feels strongly that marriage counseling could really help, if only Marc were truly willing. Apparently she’s not holding her breath for that to happen though.
Kenya told People, “Counseling could be a big proponent in flushing out issues a couple may have.” Though she’s open to counseling, Kenya is still very unsure of whether the couple has the ability to truly open up to one another because she feels their communication styles are so different. She went on… “If the communication were better and more open and honest, I think we could solve our problems.”
RHOA is set to air its premiere for season 12 on November 3rd. Until the next time it drips…
