KEVIN HART OFFERS HIS FIRST MESSAGE SINCE THE CRASH

Actor and comedian Kevin Hart posted a video last night giving his fans a glimpse into his journey after the crash that nearly killed him in early September. Kevin’s voice can be heard telling the viewer his thoughts about his struggles and lessons learned as he says, “No matter how much you think you’re in control, you’re not in control. At the end of the day, it can all be over, man.”

The images show Kevin being helped by nurses out of the bed right after surgery. Before it’s over, you see video of the superstar in action doing his physical therapy routines. The whole clip only lasts about a minute and 57 seconds, but it’s truly inspiring as the actor dispays the scar on his back from surgery. You’ll remember, doctors had to repair three fractures in Kevin’s back in emergency surgery right after the accident.

He was riding in his restored 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, driven by a friend, when the classic car suddenly veered off into a ravine. Kevin, the driver, and another friend with them were all lucky to be alive after the roof of the car was demolished during the crash and his friends had to be cut from the tangled metal to get out.

In the video Kevin reflects… “In this case, I honestly feel like God basically told me to sit down.” The actor says how much he appreciates his family, friends and supporters, and vows to slow his life down a bit. He’s being greeted by lots of love in the comments on his page as well – this is Kevin’s first message in months.

We’ll be following Kevin Harts journey also – until the next time it drips…
