Kanye West had an intimate but star studded premiere for his latest music video, “Follow God.” TMZ reported the superstar rented out the swanky Burberry store off 5th Ave in NYC. Why there? Who knows… Kanye West is just different. This party is just one in a whirlwind of press events since Kanye dropped Jesus is King on October 25th. He’s also gearing up for a worldwide tour for the set of songs. Now that’s different these days… an artist having an album good enough to bother with a real tour.
Of course Kanye went on and on about being “a black man” a lot and owning land, but it was a Kanye West event so you already knew how that was gonna go. His famous wife Kim Kardarshain West was also on hand as she and Kanye played host to the small crowd.
Rock stars A$ap Rocky and Tyler the Creator were also present at the event, which lasted until about midnight. Kanye insiders dropped a small cache of pictures and videos on social media capturing the happenings also. Jesus is King is projected to remain the #1 album in the country at week’s end, but the competition is tough. Billboard monster Post Malone is still hot on Kanye’s heels with his latest album and he won’t go away.
