Rapper YG is going through it right now as the “Go Loko” artist sits in a Los Angeles jail. He was arrested in the wee hours of Friday morning after yet another raid of one of his cribs. This time his San Fernando Valley pad was the target of Los Angeles police. What we now know is YG has been charged with robbery and has his bail set at a whopping $250,000 – a serious sum.

What we don’t really know is why, and what robbery? However, it’s easy to speculate this has something to do with the fact one of YG’s SUVs was in a high speed chase back in July 2019, a chase that ended in massive gun-play and left a 65-year-old man murdered in the streets of LA. YG denies any involvement and swears he was at the studio all day that day.

Adding to the intrigue, soon after the killing and the drama of that situation, LAPD cops raided YG’s Hollywood Hills house. All we know about that is police ‘Storm Troopers’ ended up taking one of the rapper’s soldiers to jail on gun charges, but word is YG wasn’t home at the time.

Earlier today, YG’s new celebrity lawyer, Joe Tacopina, was talking a lot, but it seems he’s skilled at not really saying much because we still don’t know what the hell is really going on. Tacopina is out there saying things like… “This has become even more outrageous … normally, in the American justice system, you get arrested after an investigation is completed. The motives here are pretty clear.” Okay…

We’re going to keep our eyes on the situation, and we’ll let you know if and when YG gets sprung. Until the next time it drips…
