Kobe Bryant’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, has finally broken her silence in the wake of the tragic helicopter crash that took her husband. Last night she released a picture of her and Kobe and all four of their girls, along with a heartfelt message to all of her family’s supporters. In part, the caption read…

“My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time. Thank you for all the prayers.”

Vanessa went on expressing herself saying, “There aren’t enough words to describe our pain right now. I take comfort in knowing that Kobe and Gigi both knew that they were so deeply loved.”

She also told her followers the Mamba Sports Foundation had set up a Mamba On Three Fund, and asked the public for donations to help support the other families that lost loved ones on that fateful day.

The story broke Sunday of the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianni, and 7 others, including the pilot. The full circumstance is still being investigated, but it’s looking like bad weather conditions had a lot to do with why the aircraft when down.

We’ll bring it to you if Vanessa Bryant has anymore to say – until the next time it drips…
