Rapper Lil Yachty just dropped a hot single the other day called “Oprah’s Bank Account,” and the jam is of course doing huge numbers on YouTube. It features a couple of the biggest stars in hip hop right now, veteran and #1 rapper in the world, Drake, and hottest newcomer, Dababy. So what’s the problem?

The problem is, according to some of his fans, Lil Yachty chose to appear in full drag in the video – dress, heels, and full makeup. While it does seem to make for a hilarious aspect to the project, many of his fans would rather he not have done that at all – and they’re telling the Quality Control rapper as much online. Well yesterday, Lil Yachty responded.

To the comment from a Twitter follower saying… “In my opinion you don’t need to wear no dresses or wigs to sell …you created a lane … how I’m suppose to take this,” Lil Yachty responded…

“Bit$* it’s just supposed to be entertaining… it ain’t even that deep, y’all Nigg*’s so in denial with y’all masculinity shit like this bother y’all.. relax.”

Now as you might imagine, with fans like this one, it might be hard to get them to relax after you’ve essentially called them gay, so the comments kept coming after that. Lil Yachty’s followers began to outright call him gay and bisexual, and it all went downhill from there. Should Lil Yachty have just let his work stand for itself? Really, the video is awesome.

Until the next time it drips…
