It’s a very interesting time in the works right now… a global pandemic threatening life as we know it, unemployment skyrocketing to staggering proportions, and families huddled together in their homes, just hoping COVID-19 passes on over them.
But a couple white kids in Carrollton, Georgia thought this world be the perfect time for a racist attack on black people… go figure.
As you can see, the two filmed themselves mimicking a cooking show. You can hear the female say, “Today we’re making” … Then the guy chimes in, saying, “Ni**ers.” They go on to say, “first we have, black” … “Next we have, don’t have a dad.” It just gets even more terrible from there.
Apparently they dropped the video on TikTok Thursday night, and by Friday morning, it was racist viral history. Once the school board heard about the deed, the two were expelled from school, expeditiously. They won’t be allowed to walk for graduation in just a few weeks either.
The City of Carrollton Schools Superintendent, Mark Albertus, said he was “deeply disturbed” at the behavior of the students. He went on to say they were, “not representative of the district’s respect for all people.” Albertus went on to say…
“Please know that this video has been addressed immediately, and any student involved in the production of this video will face serious consequences… This type of behavior will not be tolerated.”
The students at Carrollton High School, like most others around the country, are finishing the year in virtual meet-up classes. Even though they made the video at home, they were still enrolled, and they violated Carrollton City School’s code of conduct. School officials expect the expulsions will stand.
We have yet to hear from the students themselves, or their parents, as to why they would do something so detrimental to their futures. Looks like racism doesn’t care that it’s 2020. Until the next time it drips….
