Nicki Minaj offered an impassioned plea for the public to demand charges against all four officers involved in the murder of George Floyd. She used the last dying words of victims like Philando Castile, Freddie Gray, and Eric Garner to get her point across. Eric Garner, like George Floyd, said “I can’t breathe” as a murderous police officer choked him to death.
Nicki posted to social media saying…
“When 4 black THUGS commit a crime, if 1 person commits murder, they ALL get charged & CONVICTED. When white THUGS/COPS KILL innocent black people, ALL 4 of them are responsible. They all watched an unarmed man die and did nothing Why do they have different rules?????”
The “Say So” remix artist noted how the law says that all involved in a killing are to be charged with that killing, irregardless of whether they actually played a big role in it. Nicki correctly pointed out that fact. In reality, the jails are full of black and brown offenders with marginal contributions to crimes that end in death for an unsuspecting victim. And yes, they serve time just like the main perpetrators.
Though Derek Chauvin is sitting in jail, two other cops actually held George Floyd down as he took his last breath. A third cop saw to it that none of the well intentioned good samaritans on the scene that day could do anything to save George from his impending death at the hands of Derek Chauvin.
Literally everyone there that day could see George was gonna die, except for these highly trained officers… or that’s what they would have people believe, but not Nicki Minaj.
Nicki wants everyone to call Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman and demand that he charge all of the officers that were involved. Right now, Freeman’s phone line is jam packed with a public fed up with police wrongdoing on the streets of the nation.
However, for all the civic effort by day and fiery protests by night, the other three Minneapolis policemen that killed “Big George” are resting comfortably at home, still. Until the next time it drips…
