Heartwrenching surveillance video from the Southern California boat dock where Glee actress, Naya Rivera, and her 4-year-old son, Josey Hollis Dorsey, were last sceen together has now been released. It’s believed to be the last known image of Naya alive, as she and little Josey cast off onto Piru Lake.
Naya’s son would be found later that day around 5 PM, asleep in the same boat… his mother nowhere to be found. TMZ reports the Ventura County Sheriff’s office believes Naya Rivera likely drowned, as Josey told them she jumped in for a swim, but never came back up.
When Josey was found alone on the lake, his rescuers noticed his mother’s life jacket was still in the boat. It’s also said lake Piru is notorious for trees and debris near the bottom, so swimmers should beware. After searching the last two days, sadly, the operation to find Naya Rivera is now a recovery mission.
Apparently there is a massive team of professionals out on the lake looking for Naya right now, but apart from drudging over other disturbing details, all we can really do is just wait and see what happens. We’ll bring it to you when we get more – until the next time it drips…
