In a recent interview, Boosie Badazz expressed his opinion about when rapper Kodak Black made offensive remarks about the late Nipsey Hussle’s girlfriend, Lauren London. If you don’t know, Kodak eventually apologized to Lauren London, but only after suffering a torrent of bad press throughout all of the Hip Hop community.
After initially defending Kodak Black, Boosie admitted on VLAD TV that Kodak, “was supposed to do that,” … as in, he was supposed to make an apology to Lauren London. He stressed that he and Kodak were never homies, just business associates, but he (Kodak) did the right thing.
Nipsey Hussle and Lauren shared 3-year-old son Kross together, and the two had been an item for five years at the time of Nipsey Hussle’s passing in 2019. The couple was also raising Nipsey’s now 12-year-old daughter, Emani, and Lauren’s son, Kameron Carter, who is now 10 years old.
