NO COLLEGE FOOTBALL FOR 2020 – PAC 12 AND BIG 10 POSTPONE ALL GAMES

PFT Overtime: Why college football season will likely be postponed | NBC Sports

It’s being reported college football’s PAC 12 and Big 10 conferences have decided not to play football this season at all. The decision has not been made public yet, so details are admittedly sketchy at this point. TMZ Sports is saying they’ve decided to postpone the 2020 season until Spring of 2021… for now.

In an emergency meeting of the Power 5 conferences held over the weekend, PAC 12 and Big 10 presidents voted (12 – 2) they would keep their players off the field. How did it break down? … Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Northwestern and Purdue, among others, all voted to shut it down. We’re told Nebraska and Iowa were the only holdouts to keep play going.

They’re supposed to make an announcement tomorrow about the subject and hopefully we’ll get a clearer picture as to what has transpired. No word yet on what, if anything, the ACC and SEC conferences had to say about their schedules, but the situation is fluid. Watch out for updates – until the next time it drips….
