Cardi B and her sister, Hennessy Carolina, along with her sister’s girlfriend, Michelle Diaz, are all being sued by a group of MAGA hat wearing beachgoers they had a confrontation with a couple weeks ago. It happened on Smith Point beach in the Hamptons, and a recording of the clash went out all over Cardi B’s social media the same day.
Peter Caliendo, Pauline Caliendo, and Manuel Alarcon all claim they were painted as racists just because one of them had on a MAGA hat, and are now looking for unspecified damages due to defamation. TMZ reported court details, according to them, that Hennessy approached them at the beach screaming and spitting with rage, all because one of them had on a MAGA hat.
However, if you look at the video posted on Cardi B’s social media, it appears the two men are very close to Hennessy and Michelle, with what sounds like Michelle warning them to stay away and get back. At one point Michelle alludes to being told to go back to her own country prior to the camera coming on. Again, the two men seem to be very close up on whomever was doing the filming, presumably Michelle.
Cardi B also posted audio of Hennessy and Michelle discussing the incident, describing a circumstance where the Caliendos and Alarcon group approached Hennessy. Of their approach Hennessy said they “saw us parking here and we were speaking Spanish and we’re mixed.”
Hennessy and Michelle claim the group told them they couldn’t park there, yet after the ladies moved over a couple spaces, the men came again, arguing and yelling at them to leave. Apparently there is no video of the full circumstance and how it unfolded… at least not yet.
We’ll bring you any new developments – until the next time it drips….
