Unfortunately model Chrissy Teigen and R&B singer John Legend tragically lost their third child yesterday in Los Angeles. In a shocking post over social media overnight, Chrissy Teigen said this… “We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before.”
In the last few days Chrissy was rushed to the hospital for severe bleeding, and apparently received much needed blood transfusions in an effort to save the baby, who they’ve decided to call Jack. She explained…
“We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.”
The couple already have two children, Luna and Miles, and until a few days ago, everything seemed to be going wonderfully. TMZ reported on the surprise announcement of Chrissy’s pregnancy back in August when the model showed her baby bump at the end of John’s “Wild” video.
During her heartfelt posting, Chrissy went on to explain…
“We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever.”
Chrissy and John have recorded much of their ordeal with several heartbreaking pictures of the couple in grief, and even a picture of them with little Jack.
