Word has just come down that Super Bowl 50 MVP linebacker Von Miller is under criminal investigation in Colorado. TMZ Sports has confirmed the probe is real, although they don’t yet have any details to share at this time. A spokesperson for the Parker Police Department in Colorado had this to say…
“The case is currently under investigation so no information can be released at this time. If the investigation determines a crime has occurred, charges will be submitted to the DA’s office for their review.”
The Broncos have also acknowledged the possibility of their best defensive player being charged with a crime. They’ve released a statement, but it appears the team is in a holding pattern at the moment, waiting for more information to be revealed.
Miller had to sit out most of the 2020 season after a tendon injury to his leg, but the Broncos fully expected the intimidating player to be back at 100 percent come next season. He’s 31 years old and sitting on a career 106 sacks, so it’s truly a big deal for the team what happens next.
We’ll keep you up to date on this one. Until the next time it drips.
