Love & Hip Hop alum Masika Kalysha, 35, and her fiancé, Jamar Champ, just had their engagement party in Houston, Texas Saturday night. The much anticipated event went off without a hitch for the smiling lovebirds and Masika’s 4-year-old daughter, Khari Barbie.
Masika went to social media to express her happiness saying, “I’m living in a dream,” at the height of the party. The pair actually got engaged some time last week, shocking Masika’s fans with visions of a new diamond ring on her ring finger. The Shade Room reports Jamar Champ also gave Masika another ring – a pear-shaped diamond, last night at the party. They say he put it on a necklace around her neck.
Jamar, who’s an author and entrepreneur, is believed to be 31 years old. Last week when Masika confirmed their engagement, she left these words about Jamar for her followers in a since deleted tweet…
“Met my fiancé 10 years ago. Curved him for 97% of those 10 years. Been dating for 4 months. He asked me to marry him 4 days ago. Last night I asked him what made you so sure after only 4 months of dating? He said I knew 10 years ago, on the day I met you that I was gonna marry u.”
