NBA Basketball player Kyrie Irving is in the news today, but this time it’s not for troubles with the NBA. The sports superstar has apparently bought a new house for the family of George Floyd.

Jackson was talking on The Rematch podcast with Etan Thomas. He confirmed how other celebrities and well wishers stepped up to help the Floyd family as well, saying, “A lot of my friends … Kyrie Irving bought them a house. Lil Wayne’s manager bought them a Mercedes-Benz. Barbara Streisand gave them stock in Disney.”
You may remember, superstar rapper Lil Baby threw George Floyd’s daughter, Gianna, a no expense spared 7th birthday party that she will never forget.
Jackson wanted the world to know he was keeping a promise he made to look after George Floyd’s family, and be a father to little Gianna. The two men were great friends while George was alive. Thank goodness 2021 has started off wonderfully for the Floyd family. Until the next time it drips…
