KYLIE JENNER SPEAKS OUT AFTER GOFUNDME SCANDAL

Kylie Jenner has now responded to the backlash she recently received after posting a GoFundMe link to her followers on behalf of her makeup artist. His name is Samuel Rauda and he’s a popular celebrity makeup artist, but Samuel was in a car accident recently and is in need of money.

Not a big deal, right? Well it was… the internet’s been in a furor ever since the billionaire makeup mogul had the “audacity” to ask others for cash instead of footing the bill herself.

In response, on Monday Kylie posted to social media saying first off, that Samuel isn’t even her makeup artist. The way she put it… “Sam isn’t my makeup artist and unfortunately we don’t have a personal relationship anymore but I have worked with him a few years ago and think he’s the sweetest.”

Kylie basically described how she saw her current makeup artist, a woman she calls Ariel, had posted about Samuel and his car accident. Kylie says originally Samuel had only asked his followers for $10k and had already raised $6k by himself. Kylie then chunked in a cool $5k just to get Samuel over the top.

However, Kylie then detailed how she took it on herself to go for more cash, using her platform to do so. She didn’t say how the new goal of $60k was arrived at, but Kylie wanted her followers to know that Samuel Rauda’s family was very appreciative of her help and happy she got involved.

So there… Kylie Jenner and her valiant attempt at damage control. It remains to be seen, however, if this move will do the trick, or perhaps create even more questions than it answered. Until the next time it drips….
