Word is coming down about the all critical brain functionality tests scheduled today for legendary Ruff Ryders’ rapper DMX. TMZ reports there’s been no improvement in his brain activity and no improvement in his condition. This, almost a week after the rapper’s overdose late last Friday night.
The bad news throws cold water on the hopes of the hip hop community that the beloved “Where the Hood At” artist might actually wake up and come out of the coma he’s been in this entire time. Of course most of all, it’s horrible news for his family that has gathered along with throngs of well wishers outside the hospital where DMX lays still.
We’re also told the family has requested the presence of X’s longtime manager, Steve Rifkind, to come to New York and be by the rapper’s bedside.
