Information is starting to come out that Pretty Ricky artist Baby Blue has been shot near Miami, Florida. Details are scant, but the Miami Herald reports Baby Blue, real name Diamond Blue Smith, 37, was shot in a bowling alley parking lot late Monday night, around midnight.
The Davie Police Department released a report detailing this much…
“Two victims were in the parking lot of SPAREZ, next to their vehicles when two unknown armed male suspects approached.” The report continued… “A physical altercation ensued over the attempted robbery of a gold chain necklace which resulted in the suspect firearm discharging, striking the victim in the left shoulder area.”
The Love & Hip Hop: Miami star has recently been seen with a large gold chain on social media. It’s still unclear if that jewelry is the same piece from the robbery.
After the shooting, we know Baby Blue was taken to a local hospital and is still listed in critical condition. There’s also a video floating around on social media said to be of Baby Blue after the gun blast, laying in the parking lot of the bowling alley. Davie Police have confirmed the video is legit.
