Jennifer Hough is now revealing threatening messages and tweets she’s been getting from Nicki Minaj’s fans since doing her first sit-down interview with The Real talk show recently. Of course, Nicki is married to Kenneth Petty, the man convicted of attempting to rape Jennifer back in 1995.
Jennifer’s lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, even shared some of the menacing messages since her interview with TMZ. They show fans of Nicki Minaj calling Jennifer a “clout chaser,” and a “clown,” and hurling other disgusting names that we can’t print.
One such follower of Nicki Minaj even wished Jennifer to be dead – all of this after she talked about the lawsuit she filed in August against Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty for, guess what… threats and harrassment.
According to Jennifer, Nicki and Kenneth have been trying to intimidate her into recanting her story about Kenneth’s attempted rape conviction back then. She says they even offered her brother $500k to convince her to change her testimony.
You’ll remember, Kenneth recently took a plea deal for not registering as a sex offender in California. It seems his legal situation is just a mess. In baseball, that’s called an ‘unforced error.’
On the other hand, Jennifer’s lawyer said she’s been getting some priceless words of encouragement since her interview as well. Apparently, there are 30 women out there that have contacted Jennifer and praised her for coming out and speaking up on behalf of victims.
This victim-shaming circumstance does seem to add another layer in Jennifer Hough’s lawsuit against the Pettys. We’ll let you know how it all shakes out. Until the next time it drips….
