California music star Doja Cat knew she was headed to the top. Earlier in the year she tweeted a message about not disrespecting her as a rapper, and her words have rang true.
The “Kiss Me More” artist has now surpassed Drake as the most listened to rapper on Spotify. She has 63.6 million listeners per month while Drizzy comes in with less at 63.3.

However, they aren’t the most played artists of all genres on the streaming giant. The Weeknd and Dua Lipa both have closer to 70 million, while Justin Bieber is in a league of his own.
Bieber gets roughly 85 million listeners per month, and nobody even comes close to it. Perhaps one day Doja Cat will, as she predicted her hip-hop takeove, “Say So” and get going on the rest of the music world too.
