Atlanta rapper Young Thug knows he’s one of the biggest names in hip-hop. With that being said, it’s no surprise he found his way onto Kanye West’s Donda album.
Thugger appears with Ye on “Remote Control.” When asked by Complex about how he got on to the project in a new interview, he says he told Kanye they would no longer speak if he was left off Donda.
“I just hit Kanye like, ‘Bro, if I ain’t on the album, we are not speaking.’
The YSL star is a frequent collaborator with artists like Drake, Future, and more. However, this was a rarity to see him on the same track with Kanye.
The two don’t usually release any audio fire together, but that’s not to say they haven’t been in the studio together a lot. Back in 2016, Thug said on “The Angie Martinez Show” that he and the Grammy-winning rapper have recorded “like 40 songs, way more than an album.”
