Many people didn’t believe Lil Baby when he said Young Thug paid him to start rapping, but Thugger is coming forward to tell his side of the story. He has confirmed the claim and explained just why.
The Atlanta native says the two were friends and after he saw Lil Baby go to jail, he didn’t want him to go back. In a new interview, Thug dished out on why he opted to pay Baby to begin his rap career.
Thugger says he was scared for the “Drip Too Hard” rapper, who returned to the same house and neighborhood he was arrested in. He paid him to go to the studio and record, and the amounts are stunning.
Young Thug would pay him anywhere from 2 to 5 thousand dollars to go clock in studio time, and it seems like it’s paid off. He also added Baby loved to gamble, and “for sure lost ten times more money than he ever had.”
