Cleveland rapper Kid Cudi is getting his story told. A new documentary about his life has dropped and it is legit fire.
Launching on November 5, A Man Named Scott is out now on Amazon Prime Video. It covers the influence of his debut project Man on the Moon: End of Days as well as how it and the rest of his music catalog have “become the soundtrack to the lives of the forgotten youth; for the teenagers and the young adults who feel lost, hopeless and in need of inspiration,” per Yahoo.
In the film, clinical psychologist Dr. Candice Norcott speaks about the double-edged sword that is being the face of a generation. On one hand, it’s great to have that impact while on the other, Cudi has struggled with mental health for years now.
The documentary is well worth watching and is a must-see for any ‘Cudder’ fans. Directed by Robert Alexander, it shares the story of his life and how he has – literally – helped millions with his music.
