Kanye West is ditching the United States. Billboard reports he’s heading to the motherland and scheduling a visit in Russia with none other than the country’s leader.
Ye’s associate and strategic advisor Ameer Sudan dished to the music publication that Mr. West is planning a trip to Moscow later in 2022 to meet with President Vladimir Putin. He will also be holding Sunday Service performances as his first-ever shows in the country.
It doesn’t stop there, however. Ye plans to expand his business ventures into the eastern country. Travel plans are currently being coordinated for the spring or summer of this year, but it depends on Mr. West’s busy schedule.
Sudan continued that Russia will become a “second home” for Kanye, and that he’ll “be spending a lot of time out there.” The rap legend is always on the move and always doing something out of the ordinary, so is this really a surprise? Absolutely not.
