Roddy Ricch won’t be talked down to. In a new conversation on the Clubhouse app, the West Coast rapper had a lot on his mind about some floating rumors and went off.
The latest trending talk on the chat app comes after Roddy engaged in a back and forth with Yah-L, who is reportedly a Crip from Los Angeles. Yah-L had been spreading rumors about the hip-hop star and his reputation.
There had been talk that Roddy was “false flagging,” so he confronted the Crip about said rumors on Clubhouse. The phrase refers to, essentially, capping about something, which would seemingly be his gang representation.
“I got phone calls, text messages, I’m seeing on the internet I’m false flagging. I wanna know what’s going on,” said the 23-year-old. “Who’s sayin’ I’m not from the hood? You saying I’m not from the hood?!” he continued, but Yah-L stood his ground.
Roddy continued going off, saying… “I’m asking you a question… You ain’t see me get put on to Blacc Macc?… Alright, champ, three n*ggas, put two of them down, that ain’t official? I know a lot of little homies that ain’t get their official, n*gga.”
All in all, Roddy definitely seemed to make his point clear… he’s not capping.
