Lil Baby is switching things up. He’s going, what some would call, “against the grain,” as a rapper and doing things differently.
While out shopping for jewelry at Icebox, footage has emerged of the Atlanta star denouncing cold hard cash. In the clip, LB says he’s done carrying around money and just wants to get paid in cryptocurrencies.
“I don’t even want no more cash,” he said before being asked what he wants instead. Baby then suggested “Ethereum, Bitcoin,” making it clear he is all in on the crypto world.
The 27-year-old then spoke on staying in the metaverse, which per Wikipedia, is “a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection” – that would seemingly include cryptocurrency. While most hip-hop artists aren’t afraid to flex their benjamins, it seems like the “Woah” artist is moving on from that trend.
