Kanye West is in music mode. Veteran rapper Jay Electronica has gone online to share some text receipts about what he’s cooking up with Ye.
He tweeted out a video of a conversation with Mr. West, whose first text reads “We working on music in LA and Miami.” Jay responded that they “got more music to make,” with Kanye replying hours later that “Donda 2 [is] starting now.”
The 45-year-old then, a few days later, offered praise for Ye’s verse on The Game’s new collaboration, “Eazy.” “You punished that f**king E A Z Y verse,” he said. “I wanna put a verse on it. Lol.” To this, Kanye replied “Let’s gooooooo.”
Does this mean the two are going to collaborate soon? We sure hope so! Even more so than that, we hope Ye is hardcore working on a Donda follow-up album. Let’s hope it gets to the masses sooner rather than later.
