Dr. Dre is hyping up his protégé. The hip-hop mogul went to social media to ponder who would face off against Eminem in a Verzuz battle.
One of the most popular names to come up in the Internet’s never-ending debate about great Verzuz matches is, of course, Slim Shady. He hasn’t done one yet, but fans can always keep hoping the rap great will get on the stage.
Perhaps it’s in talks, or at the very least the subject on Dre’s mind. The 56-year-old went to Instagram with a video of Em rapping the “Godzilla” end verse, which has a world record for being the fastest rap verse ever.
Captioning it “Marshall Mathers vs Who???!!,” maybe this is a sneak preview at himself facing off against Slim. Fans can only wait to see if this was just a post to hype up his longtime friend, or if there’s a specific opponent in mind.
