Kanye West might actually drop Donda 2 soon. He’s given a release date for the Donda follow-up project and it’s sooner rather than later.
While Ye is known for not ever releasing his albums on time (or, if ever), he’s revealed a once-a-century, numerology-pleasing release date of February 22nd, 2022. Mr. West took to Instagram with a dope promotional graphic, too.
It’s unclear if the graphic with the release date is going to be a version of the cover art, but it’s fire regardless (literally). Ye also added that Atlanta rapper Future would be executive producing the album.
Earlier this month, it was revealed by music executive Steven Victor that Kanye had begun working on Donda 2. To frank, whether the album will drop on time is yet to be determined. Don’t be surprised if we have to wait a couple more months, or even years if, Ye’s not feeling the project in its entirety.
