Kanye West is rethinking February. The hip-hop icon took to social media to redefine the month in terms of it’s typical commemoration.
Since 1976, the second month of the year has been recognized as Black History Month. However, Ye went to his Instagram to designate February as “Black Future Month.”
“FEBRUARY IS NOW BLACK FUTURE MONTH #BFM,” Kanye wrote with an accompanying black photo with text overlaid on it that could potentially double as some fire album art. Footage has been floating around the Internet of the 44-year-old hosting some sort of press conference with all attendees wearing black, which included NFL star Antonio Brown and Gunna.
Shenseea and Fivio Foreign have all been spotted in attendance of the event. It’s great to see Kanye thinking in a dope, unique, and outside of the box fashion. Many would say he’s come up with some great ideas lately.
