Meek Mill is not shying away from speaking up. Once again, he’s went to social media to voice his frustrations with his label.
The Philadelphia rapper took to his Twitter with a message about Atlantic Records. He says they’ve made over $100 million on him and still refuse to give him the freedom to drop music when he pleases.
āSo look I made Atlantic records 100ās of millions and let them rape me out out Roddy a artist they came to me about in jail ⦠they still saying I canāt drop music until 9 months after my last album got blackballed.”
Meek also took shots at Atlantic for cutting him out of managing Roddy Ricch, one of the label’s artists, while he was in jail.
The 34-year-old continued…
āRoddy my youngin still ā¦. But that label seperated us instantly when the millions came in from him⦠same thing they tried to do with me and rozay ⦠it takes a long time to catch up too because most of em tied in for the love of some money ā¦artist scared to speak up.ā
It might now help anything or fix any of his problems, but at least the world is seeing the dark side of the music industry.
