NBA YoungBoy is calling out his label. The hip-hop star went to social media to put Atlantic Records on blast.
Fresh off of dropping new mixtape Colors, the rapper popped up back online to accuse Atlantic Records of blackballing him. Specifically, he accuses them of removing the project from streaming services, thus resulting in his removal from the charts.
The Never Broke Again Star wrote on his YouTube…
“Why black ball me I’m the good guy. I was going #1 two weeks straight with a mixtape so they took it down off the charts I don’t give a f**k you still can’t stop me. Don’t sign to atlantic if you artist they not gone support you especially if you live a certain way.”
Colors debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 after dropping on January 21st. The 20-track deluxe edition of the project it is still on Spotify, but is no longer available for streaming on Apple Music for unknown reasons, so perhaps YB has a point.
