Soulja Boy says he was first. As he normally does, the young hip-hop veteran has spoken up about being the originator of something in hip-hop.
California rapper Lil B spoke up online about who he saw as the first of the genre on Twitter. He tweeted that Wiz Khalifa was on the social media platform before anybody else, saying he “was the 1st rapper I seen on twitter this was during MySpace he was already huge on twitter!”
This is cap, however, according to Soulja. He pulled out the screenshots and went to both his and the Pittsburg native’s profiles to prove who had registered a profile first, showing that he did it before Wiz.
Soulja Boy tweeted “Check the dates. Why u just cap like that?” along with a blue cap emoji. It seems like sometimes he might be wilding out, but the 31-year-old may have a point here.
